Mezcal .. 

Is a spirit originally from the state of Oaxaca in southern México.

Agave plants grow in many states like Guanajuato, Guerrero, Durango, Michoacan, Puebla, Tamaulipas, Aguascalientes, San Luis Potosí , Zacatecas, etc.

They all can destilate Mezcal.

The hearts of Agave piñas are cooked using wood-fired ovens inside the earth, giving the spirit a pungent smokiness.

Mezcal is aged from few months to several years.. 

Being: Joven, Reposado or Añejo. 

It comes from different types of Agave (Espadín, Tobalá, Pechuga, Minero, etc).


Is a regional distilled spirit made only from

the blue agave plant (Weber).

Primarily in the state of Jalisco, México. Tequila is aged in wood oak barrels

in 3 different styles. 

Blanco: is aged for no more than 2 months; it has intense and clear taste in its purest form.

Reposado: is aged from 2 to 12 months; takes a golden hue and taste of wood flavours.

Añejo: is aged for at least 1 year; the color and taste darkens to an ambar sweetness.
